But the resurrected head plots revenge telepathically ; Carnival of souls: A woman who survives a car accident runs away to Utah to become a church organist. She is then drawn to a ruined pavillion and is haunted by visions of the dancing dead ; Night tide: A sailor on leave in California loves an orphan girl working as a mermaid in a seafront sideshow. His love falters when she believes she is descended from the sea creatures that must kill when the moon is full
