Summary
The body of Iris Oakley's estranged husband Rick was discovered lying in the lion exhibit. At first, paralyzed by a mix of grief and anger, Iris doesn't question his accidental death. But Rick simply could not have died the way it appears. Then Iris is reassigned from feline keeper to bird keeper. The zoo veterinarian respects her skills, but the foreman would far rather she get a job elsewhere,and the senior bird keeper seems to agree.
